INTRODUCTION: We know the reasons why Bangladeshi marginal people can’t sustain despite the enormous economic growth. Low-income people can’t meet their 5 basic needs, moreover, struggle to live from hand to mouth. The underprivileged people are hardworking but can’t overcome the ferocious cycle of poverty. Engineer Moqbul Foundation (EMF) foundation works to promote the underprivileged people with the aim to make their life self-reliant. As people become self-reliant, they are better prepared to endure adversities and are better able to care others of their need.

HOW WE HELP A beneficiaries THROUGH OUR SELF -RELIANT PROGRAM?  

[1] Firstly, we will be measuring the monthly financial deficit of the beneficiaries.

[2] Secondly, we will select a feasible business on the basis of the physical ability, expertise & experiences of the Beneficent.

[3] Common local businesses for the marginal people are: Grocery shop, Tea stall, Poultry farming, Livestock rearing, Vegetable farming, Mushroom farming, Repair shop, Hardware shop, Food & fruit cart, Vegetable vending van, Tailoring shop, Saloon, handicraft, Nursery, medicine shop, small cafeteria, “Computer training & service center” etc.

[4] Monitoring the beneficiaries for stable earnings, savings & the need-based expenditure for the family members.
